What are the Visa requirements?

TECI will assist with Visas requirements for Ireland and for study trips to other EU countries.

How will I travel to Dublin?

If required, TECI can book flights from your country to Dublin in Ireland, and arrange for transport from Dublin airport to your accommodation in Dublin.

What accommodation is available?

Accommodation can be arranged by TECI, and usually consists of rooms in private apartments. The cost of the accommodation is included in the course package for overseas students.

How will I travel to and from course lectures?

Most course lectures will be held within walking distance of the accommodation. If lectures or practical demonstrations are at a greater distance, TECI will either advise on transport options, or organize transport.

Will my dietary requirements be catered for?

TECI will arrange for specific dietary requirements, such as vegetarian diet or Halal foods, and coeliac requirements or other food intolerances.

Should I have insurance?

Travel and health insurance can be included in the overseas students’ package.

In which language will the course be conducted?

All TECI courses are conducted in English. TECI can arrange for English classes to suit specific requirements, such as technical-English tuition on an individual or group basis, should this be required.

What are the course levels?

The courses offered by TECI are primarily CPD (Continuing Professional Development) courses, aimed at professionals wishing to expand their field of experience.

Does TECI design special courses for individual needs?

TECI also designs courses in response to specific needs. These tailor-made courses are designed in consultation with individual clients.

How many people will be in lectures and classes?

Most of our courses are designed to accommodate 15 students.

Can I get details of the course before commencement of the course?

Yes, you will receive details of course structure and schedule two weeks before commencing the course.
